Supporting Our Swimmers – A Quick Note for Parents

November 2, 2025

Hi everyone,

We’re thrilled to see the turnout at our first Mini meet of the season. You brought great energy and excitement to the pool deck, and it’s clear how much you care about your swimmers, and that support makes a huge difference. With the season underway, we just want to share a quick reminder about how we can all help create the best environment for our athletes.

  • Let the coaches coach. During practices and meets, our coaching staff is focused on guiding the swimmers. The best way you can help is by cheering from the sidelines and letting the coaches handle the technical side.
  • Be observers and supporters. Your role is to encourage, clap, and celebrate effort and progress. Positive energy from the stands goes a long way!
  • Keep the message consistent. Swimmers thrive when they hear the same guidance from both coaches and parents. If you have question about training methods, results, or anything technical, please bring them directly to the coach rather than to your swimmer.
  • Save the tough questions for us. Whether it’s about times, drills, or meet strategy, the coaching team is always happy to chat—just reach out before or after practice or send a note.

At the end of the day, we all want the same thing: for our swimmers to enjoy the sport, grow in confidence, and keep improving.

Thanks for helping us keep the pool deck a positive, supportive space.

See you at the pool,
Jody Crowther
Club President
