DCSC Spotlight - Spotlight of the Week - Week of October 26th
A huge round of applause to Sam! Sam raced in the 10km event at the Valley Harvest Marathon the other weekend. Not only that, he placed 2nd in the U19 category!
Dal Relay and Sprint Recap
Our age group swimmers dove into the first meets of the season at Dalplex last weekend and had a blast! Our coaches wanted to highlight some of their favourite moments from the meet.
Mikayla thought the team spirit from all swimmers was incredible, and especially noted Sunwoo and Kemal who were often on their feet cheering for their teammates! She also noted how supportive Kyrie, Isabelle, and Chloe were to those around them, especially after tough swims.
Victoria was really impressed with Claire and Leah, who both raced at their first winter swim meet! She also wanted to highlight how wonderfully Gold was able to execute the technical work they have been developing through the early part of the season.
Jenn also noted how amazing the team spirit was! She noticed that the team was on time and focused during activation, and was just generally good at doing what was being asked of them. Overall, she felt the team showed up well and was very intentional in their actions all weekend.
Way to go Crusaders!
