Spotlight of the Week!
This week’s spotlight features Junior Squad member Leonie Reiner, submitted by her mom, Emily Reiner.
I just wanted to give a little (non-swimming-related) shout-out to my daughter, Leonie Reiner.
Leonie trains with the Junior Squad, and in her spare time (ha!) she trains and races with the Wentworth Ski Racing Club. This past weekend, she put in a strong performance at the Poley Mountain Race Weekend in New Brunswick, placing 2nd overall on Saturday and 5th on Sunday in a field featuring the top U12 racers from all three Maritime provinces.
Juggling two sports is very challenging, and Leonie continues to navigate that challenge with grace and positivity (well, mostly). Well done, Leonie!
