Grocery Store Gift Card Fundraiser

How The Sobeys Gift Card Fundraiser Works

Members purchase Sobeys gift cards at face value. The club combines orders to receive a bulk discount. This savings is passed on to members’ Mandatory Fundraising Commitment (reconciled year-end).
If the combined team order is above $5,000, the order receives a 5% discount. The entire 5% discount is applied to the MFC.
If the combined team order is above $20,000, the order receives a 6% discount. This 6% discount is shared – 5% is applied to the MFC and 1% is goes to the club.
There is a minimum order to qualify for the discount. Club orders under $5000 will be cancelled and members will have the option of having their order returned or applied to a future club order.

Order deadline usually on a Tuesday – no late orders, please!
Minimum order is $50
Denominations available - $200, $100, $50 and $25
Special orders permitted - clearly indicate numbers for each denomination when ordering

Ordering Instructions

Send e-transfer payment to the dcsctreasurer2022@gmail.com with “Sobeys [Month] [Year]” in the subject field.
Please forward your e-transfer confirmation email to sobeys@dartmouthcrusaders.ca AND include your order details at the top of the message.
If you wish to specify card denominations, make sure you include that information in your message. If no card information is included, the order will be filled with the least number of cards possible.

- Typically, Saturdays mornings – pickup location may vary.
- Cards distributed directly to Junior/Senior swimmers unless otherwise indicated
