Maine Tour Team 2027

Please find attached the information for the 2027 Maine Swimming Tour, taking place March 18-22nd, 2027,
I would ask that you please review the attached Swimmer Letter/Application information and share it with eligible members of your team. I've also prepared a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document, which is attached and available on the Swim NS website.
This opportunity is open to all registered year-round swimmers in Nova Scotia who are 11-14 years old (as of March 18th, 2027) and meet the qualifying standards.
A few important details:
- Swimmer Applications: This year, applications will be completed through an online JotForm. The deadline to apply is February 22nd, 2027.
- Team Size: Swimmers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 50 swimmers. Swimmers are encouraged to submit their applications early to secure a place on the list, even if they have not yet achieved the qualifying standards. They will have until February 22nd, 2027, to achieve the required times and may withdraw their application if they do not qualify.
- Meet Information and Qualifying Times: These are not yet available. We expect the qualifying times sometime in November or early December, and I'll forward both the meet information and standards as soon as they're released. A schedule for the event will be shared at this time as well.
- Payments and Deadlines: There is no deposit required when submitting an application. Full payment is due by Monday, February 22nd, 2027, along with all paperwork. Once payment has been submitted, the trip is non-refundable.
