Holiday Parade: We Need Your Help!

Thank you to those parents that donated/lent the items we have needed to help make our float in the Holiday Parade of Lights a major success. We are still in need of more small white LED Christmas lights to donate or lend. We will also be purchasing garland for the float and yellow Santa hats (like our swim caps) for the swimmers walking the parade route - these hats will also be used at the Candy Cane meet in December to show our team spirit. For those families interested in donating $25 towards these items can email registrar@dartmouthcrusaders.ca (selected family will earn one volunteer point for their donation). Please do not send a donation until you receive an email back from the Registrar as we don’t want to exceed the amount of funds received that we actually require for these purchases.
In addition to our float we will have 20 people walking the parade route. Four of the 20 will be adults which leaves 16 spots for swimmers. If your swimmer is interested in walking the parade route please reach out to the Registrar. Below is a picture of the route. Your swimmer MUST be able to walk the route regardless of weather as they will NOT be able to get on the float at any point during the parade. If interested please reach out to the Registrar. Swimmers will be selected on a first come first serve basis.
