Call for volunteers! Fundraising Chair and Meet Hospitality Coordinator
Hello all,
We have several volunteer positions available that we are looking to fill this season.
Our organization runs smoothly because of the efforts of all our volunteers – from individuals supporting our canteens during meets, to equipment orders, fundraisers, to administration, officials training, etc. We have been extremely fortunate to have so many of our families step forward to help – that is one of the core values of being a Crusader.
Here are some of the roles we are currently seeking to fill:
1. Fundraising Chair
The Chair of Fundraising is a Board position and the person filling this role will be responsible for coordinating, assisting with booking, planning and delivering major club fundraisers and other fundraising initiatives. They will work with the volunteers responsible for each fundraiser and act as a liaison between the individual fundraising volunteers and the Board of Directors.
2. Meet Hospitality Coordinator
This season, DCSC will be hosting two meets (January – NovaTech #3 and April – Age Group Development #5). The Hospitality Coordinator will oversee the donating and purchasing of food for the canteen and meet hospitality for these two meets (providing officials with snacks/light meals while they are on deck at meets). They will work to ensure that there are sufficient volunteers to run the canteen and arrange meals/snacks. The Hospitality Coordinator will also help with team building events as they occur throughout the season.
